About Us
History of Station Garage
On May 29th 1979 Bob Shepherd and Adrian McGregor first opened Station Garage in the centre of the village of Torphins. They specialised in Fast Fords and soon gained a reputation with people travelling the country to buy vehicles from them.
Due to their increasing popularity and demand for servicing work they built the garage that we now know as ‘Station Garage’ in 1986. This allowed them to expand into the 4x4 market taking on the Daihastu franchise for the North East of Scotland.
In 2000 they added the Mitsubishi franchise to their ever growing business after opening a branch in Aberdeen, which was closed in May 2023 after deciding to consolidate the business.
As the motor trade evolves we are proud to move with the technology, ensuring our technicians are trained to work on hybrid and electric vehicles and our plans to continue improving our facilities as we look forward to many more years in business.
We would like to thank all our customers and staff at Torphins and Aberdeen for their contribution to our continued success and loyal support for over 40 years.
